The Town of Duncan Police Department participates in a program designed to both reduce the number of trailers stolen in the area and increase the chances of recovery when they are stolen.
In the event your trailer is stolen, this will assist law enforcement in identifying your trailer and getting it back to you. This process allows law enforcement to positively identify your trailer, take it from an alleged thief and return it to you. Statistics show that if your trailer VIN is known, the chances of law enforcement locating the stolen trailer and returning it to you and prosecuting the person who took your trailer are much greater. Enforcement and NICB want to double our chances of recovery by adding a second identitcation number and engraving it into your trailer.
The cost to you is FREE! We want to provide this service to the Citizens at NO COST in an effort to set more stolen trailers back to their rightful owners.
