Byrnes Lady Rebels beat Ashley Ridge 4-0 to claim the program's second Class AAAAA softball title, the team's third title since 2014 and the fifth overall. Byrnes has played for every AAAAA crown since the classification's inception. Byrnes pitcher and Clemson commit Haylee Whitesides struck out 28 batters across two complete game shutouts in the series sweep, and added a solo home run in the game win. The Rebels took the best-of-three series 2-0 and Byrnes finishes the season 32-1. Congrats team!
